Canad Inn SCS Structure Remodel
Repair. Repaint. Repeat customers.
Replaced bucket bearings, repaired interactive and touched up theme painting.
Project Need:
Peeling paint. Bad bucket bearings. Interactive features not so interactive anymore.
All that means bad news for any water park. And there was just a five-day window to fix it all.
Project Description:
PurePlay brought in two crews, and according to Canad Inn Maintenance Manager Jim Newman, “By golly, we worked the heck out of them.”
The first crew specializing in themed features got to work sanding structures and addressing the peeling paint. The second crew attacked the rusted bucket bearings. In the end, the bucket bolts had to be cut off.
Project Result:
Five days later, when the shutdown ended, the interactive work and most of the rest of the structure shone with a bright coat of paint, and the budget rocked, tipped and dumped safely. Canad Inn customers will be splished and splashed for years to come.
