Tornado gets a spin cycle treatment

Project Need:

The Tornado and Bowl were polished to a new slide shine and the Purple enclosed slide off the White Water structure was polished and clear coated. Hershey spent big bucks for its distinctive Tornado and Bowl slides. But no matter how spiffy the slide, the wear and tear are inevitable: caulked, faded, dirty. And the guests notice.

Project Description:

PurePlay first sanded the slides to remove a layer of clear coat and major chalking. We then polished the slides three times with three different grits of polish to return the slides to a factory shine.

Project Result:

Another enclosed tube slide was also clear coated. Again, the guests noticed. The slides looked brand new, and the Tornado was back in business.
